Larry Kramer, Founder and Former CEO of Marketwatch, and Former CEO of CBS Online will be speaking with NYVCA Members about his new book, C-Scape, Navigating the Future of Business., on the morning of November 3, the morning after Harper Collins releases his new book. Consumer behavior has been changed by the digital media and social networks, and businesses need to understand how customer behavior has evolved and embrace it if they want to be competitive. All business is being effected by these changes in consumer behavior and communication. Members will have the opportunity to hear Mr. Kramer’s predictions for businesses that don’t understand the evolution, which could parallel the evolution of the media industry. The book has received critical praise from Tina Brown, “No one else has Larry’s experience and success across all media forms—new and old.” Larry Kramer is an adjunct professor of Media Management at the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University and sits on the board of directors of Discovery Communications, Inc.
