Come and hear about the economic initiatives for firm creation that are targeted towards helping your portfolio companies succeed. It will be an opportunity to communicate directly with Mr. Pinsky and network with other members of the NYC investor ecosystem.

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is launching new initiatives to help with ‘Firm Creation,’ including boot camps for grants, tax incentives, office space, services and more. Mr. Pinsky was appointed by Mayor Bloomberg to put these initiatives in place. The mission of the NYCEDC is to promote economic growth and the Venture Community is an important component. Mr. Pinsky wants the community to know that these initiatives are real and wants to include the Venture Community.

Please join NYCEDC President, Mr. Seth Pinsky and meet with other members of the investment community to learn about these initiatives, how to take advantage of them and to provide valuable feedback to NYCEDC for development of future programs. Mr. Pinsky will be discussing innovative ways to put the City’s capital budget and federal stimulus allocation to work on infrastructure projects across the five boroughs; diversify the City’s economy to support traditional industries; grow emerging industries; promote entrepreneurship; and invest in underutilized neighborhoods to ensure quality of life for all New Yorkers.
